Tuscan food and wine

Food

Bagno Vignoni is only 5km away from the resort, the small shops in this incredible place will offer you many typical dishes. We can organize nice trips to visit the small farms where the well known pecorino di Pienza is made.

If you are interesting in cooking authentic Tuscan cuisine and if you have an idea in mind of something you would like to learn how to cook, we can arrange a personalized cooking class for you! You will learn the real way of making Italian food, while having fun with our chef, taking part to a 2 hours lesson followed by a lunch with what you’ve cooked.

Otherwise we organize a one day long cooking class or a 3 days long cooking school with a Michelin starred chef at a few km from the resort.

Wine

Val d’Orcia is a land enchanted with a surreal atmosphere that gave the origin to very important and appreciated italian wines that are well known all over the world: the Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano, just to name a few historical DOCG ones, and the younger Rosso Orcia DOC. Our staff is at your disposal to visit some small and not very famous cantinas that are still keeping alive a wine tradition which dates back over a thousand years. You will see every step required to produce wine without chemistry and you might know in person the men and women that are beyond those great products.
